The La Mia Bella Story...

Like many girls growing up, I remember sitting in the bathroom watching my mother get ready for the day - putting on her 'special' (not to be touched by young hands) lotions, sparkly powders, fragrant creams and beautifully packaged make-up placed with such precision. Wistfully, I longed for the day when I would be old enough to enjoy the pampering of such things. But I had to wait. Until I was older. That was such torture as a young girl wanting to be all grown up...wanting to be like mommy. Wanting to be like mommy...right NOW!

Grow up I did. Eventually. And now at age 40 with nieces of my own, I see their same longing for grown up girlie products - past the stage of cartoon characters on bubble bath and pink princess lotions. A strong desire for a safe, naturally made, quality - and yet easily affordable - bath and body collection. We quickly discovered that a line of sophisticated products dedicated to young girls and those young at heart simply did not exist. Now it does.
